About Me
Software engineer, builder, and digital storyteller
Hey, I'm a software engineer a full-stack developer by trade, fluent in JavaScript, React, and Next.js. In the professional world, I've shipped scalable apps across industries like private aviation, hospitality, and healthcare. I build fast, I build clean, and I stay curious.
But code is more than a job it's a language I've spoken long before I called it a career.
I taught myself to code in the glow of CRT monitors, on borrowed machines and late-night terminals. I've flashed BIOS chips, spun up Linux servers for fun, and learned to speak in Bash, Python, Lua, and C not for a resume, but because it felt like home. The terminal was my teacher, my mirror, my escape. Before the frameworks and abstractions, there was just wonder. Curiosity. That electric feeling when a machine finally does what you tell it to.
I wasn't the prodigy or the golden child. I was the one they underestimated. And that was enough. Enough to learn, to build, to break, and to rebuild.
What I'm Working On
Right now, I'm focused on building things that merge creativity, community, and code.
Ruunt Hora
A same-day event coordination platform with real-time chat, geo check-ins, and seamless discovery. Think "today's plan," fully streamlined.
Infinite Loop Cult
A space for devs, hackers, and builders to share the real work behind the screen: the wins, the bugs, the breakthroughs that don't usually make it into the spotlight.
Book of the Wire
A poetic tech manifesto, written in static. What started as eight verses became 64: a blend of hacker ethos, code reflections, and creative rebellion.
I also write on Medium a place where I explore technical concepts and share insights in the open, sharpening my craft through the act of teaching.
On Twitter, I do what I call "yapping into the void," connecting with fellow devs, growing a small but thoughtful audience, and building my own corner of the web through authentic, ongoing conversations.
You can find all of this on raysilvers.tech my digital home for project highlights, experiments, writing, and more.
And yes I'm powered almost entirely by coffee. The stronger, the better. If you're into code, creativity, or just want to talk setups and beans, you're always welcome to reach out.
